Designer floor lamp Captain Flint with marble base

With Captain Flint, designer Michael Anastassiades wanted to create a floor lamp that could serve a dual purpose. Namely, on the one hand, provide diffused ambient light like a ceiling washlight, but on the other hand, produce downward reading light, possibly somewhat dimmed, without having two lamp arms and shades. Therefore, the cone-shaped shade of the floor lamp, which is equipped with a plastic diffuser for a more pleasant lighting atmosphere, can be rotated around the mounting rod so that it is directed once upwards and once downwards. In addition, the light can be dimmed in intensity from 10 to 100 percent by means of the switch dimmer.

The floor lamp, which on the whole is very delicately designed, is given not only the obvious stability by the mighty base made of black Marquina marble, but also a flair of luxury and a certain presence that makes it difficult not to notice the lamp
