You may find the design of the table lamp shown provocative, because a gun as a lamp base is anything but ordinary and quite debatable. However, this also shows that designer Philippe Starck has succeeded in intelligently realizing his intention of attracting attention. Indeed, it is not a question of considering the table lamp as a symbol of power, but rather it must be pointed out that it carries a socially critical message. Indeed, it is very true that weapons all over the world contribute significantly to discord and cause endless loss of life. At the same time, the everlasting and seemingly never-ending desire for profit is a supporting element for the production and sale of weapons, and it is precisely such unethical behavior and morally indefensible economic mechanisms that the designer table lamp is intended to draw attention to. Therefore, the inscription on the base of the table lamp is not by chance “Happiness is a hot gun”.

If, as was mentioned at the beginning, the design of the table lamp is debatable, then this is not necessarily something that is to be evaluated exclusively negatively, because discussions about the grievances in this world are desired and suggestions for solutions are welcome!
